ABOUT BRIanna Niemoeller
Current Coordinator at the Cardiovascular Research Foundation.
I am a dedicated and results-driven professional with a diverse background in customer service, project coordination, UX research, and design. My career began with a strong desire to create meaningful change, which initially led me to major in Political Science. Motivated by the aftermath of the 2016 election, I thought politics was the most direct way to make an impact. However, as I progressed in my studies, I realized that my passion for change could be better channeled in a different direction. While I remained deeply engaged with the material, I began to understand that a career in politics wasn’t the right fit for me. This insight led me to discover design research, where I found a new way to make an immediate and tangible impact. I became captivated by the process of empathizing with users, identifying their challenges, and creating solutions that directly addressed their needs.
Currently, I serve as a Coordinator for the Call for Science program at the Cardiovascular Research Foundation, where I oversee customer service for large-scale events, providing both online and in-person support to over 10,000 participants from more than 100 countries. I thrive on delivering exceptional service, facilitating event registration, applying strategic support to boost participation, and implementing program updates based on customer feedback.
Previously, I worked as a Project Coordinator at ModernThink, where I managed customer service for the Great Colleges to Work For program, supporting over 200 institutions. My experience also includes UX Research internships at Stryker and Honeywell, where I conducted qualitative research and usability testing to improve product designs and user experiences.
Beyond my professional work, I have also contributed to brand development and digital marketing, serving as Social Media Manager at Chamberlin Brand and Creative Director for WVFI Radio’s Mindset Magazine. These leadership roles enabled me to enhance brand visibility and create inclusive communication strategies.
My dream is to merge my passion for social justice with my love for design. I’ve worked on projects ranging from improving air quality in homes to reducing clothing waste, and my personal favorite was designing a social media campaign to increase voter turnout among young Americans. I aim to keep my initial passion for social change alive, but now through a design-focused lens.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Notre Dame, with a Minor in Collaborative Innovation and Design Research. Driven by curiosity and a desire to create customer-centered solutions, I am constantly seeking new challenges that allow me to combine my skills in empathy, storytelling, communication, and design to create meaningful impact.
