In 2023, I led the creative direction and execution of the Higher Education Workplace Trend Summary for ModernThink. According to the company’s website, "The Trend Report provides comparative data on key demographics and policies, offering aggregate data from the Institution Questionnaire© (IQ) completed by each program participant. This data is summarized in both chart and graphical formats to highlight trends and help institutions assess their performance relative to peers." Given the report's importance in helping clients understand their performance data, it was crucial for me to design it in a way that was both visually clear and meaningful. I carefully selected and displayed the most relevant data, ensuring that it was easily understandable and effectively conveyed key insights. Recognizing that data is only valuable when it is clear and actionable, I spent significant time refining the data presentation to ensure its accuracy and accessibility. While I did not design the entire trend report myself, I led the content and direction in collaboration with a designer. I provided sample charts and graphs, collected and analyzed the data, and made key decisions regarding themes, colors, and other important design edits.
